Dear Friends of Orchestral Music

Tickets are on sale now for the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra’s winter season!

It was wonderful to see audiences returning to the City Hall in April and the Friends of Orchestral Music are looking forward to hosting the final dress rehearsals again for the winter series of five concerts in June. Monies raised at the rehearsals go directly to the helping the orchestra.

When attending the City Hall there are still some Covid rules and regulations and we ask that you please note the following:

1: The City Hall requests proof of vaccination or negative covid test for entry into the building for both rehearsals and concerts. We ask that you please have this ready to show when arriving at the City Hall. If we receive any updates or changes in this regard we will notify you immediately.

2: We are not allowed to have cash sales and must monitor numbers entering the building – as such tickets for the rehearsals are on sale via the Quicket.co.za website.  Direct links below in the description. (For the concerts you can book at Computicket) If you have trouble logging into Quicket you are welcome to email us on info@fomct.com and we will assist you further. There will also be no ticket sales at the door.

3: If you would like to make a block booking for your school or organisation please contact me on info@fomct.com

4: Entrance for rehearsals will be through a second door on Longmarket Street – further along from the entrance that the orchestra use (this will be signposted). You will receive an email a day or two before the rehearsal confirming this.

Should you be unable to attend either the concerts or the rehearsals – take heart – Fine Music Radio will be recording the concerts for broadcast a week later. They too are having to abide by new rules and protocols which prevent live broadcasting for now.

Kind regards

Louise Howlett
