FOM AGM: 25 June: All you need to know

Dear Members,

Normally our AGM immediately precedes a soiree. Unfortunately, our 2020 AGM has to be convened as a remote meeting in accordance with the Lock Down regulations promulgated in terms of the State of National Disaster which prohibits gatherings, concerts and soirees in Level 3.

The FOM 2020 Soiree Season has, accordingly, been postponed until we are allowed to commence – which may not be for the foreseeable future. But our AGM must happen and we are going to use the Zoom remote meeting platform using my practice’s secure server and Zoom account to make sure our meeting, and its attendees, are secure.

In order to participate in the Zoom meeting, you will need to have downloaded Zoom on to your computer, laptop or tablet – whichever device you will be using to join the meeting. The AGM pack will include step-by-step instructions on How to Download Zoom.

My partner Justin Runyowa will send you a meeting invitation to the FOM AGM from Justin@kmh.co.za which you need to accept and which will contain the link and password you will need to join the meeting. You will follow the steps set out in How to Join the Zoom AGM included in the AGM pack.
