For your Diary:

The Cape Town Concert Series have just announced their new season of concerts taking place – details below.  If you would like to attend these concerts, email info@ctconcerts.co.za quoting your FOM membership number and you can book directly.  For the concert on 15 April featuring chamber music by members of the CPO,  the Concert Series is offering FOM members a R20 discount on their tickets.

The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra‘s first season for 2023 begins in April – but booking for current subscribers opens next week on February 10th and bookings for new subscribers and general tickets opens on 1 March.  For queries please call dial-a-seat 021 421 7695.  The final ‘dress’ rehearsals will also be open again on the morning of each concert. These give FOM a chance to help the orchestra raise much needed funds for their general running costs. Members of FOM will be able to book ahead for a full season of rehearsals and receive a small discount. More details on that soon.

Meanwhile if you are missing the orchestra, then don’t forget to catch them at Kirstenbosch Gardens on Sunday 12 February where the programme includes Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto with Feroll-Jon Davids and Dvorak’s New World Symphony Nr. 9. Tickets from Webtickets.

We look forward to hearing from you. Do not hesitate to contact with any queries.

Kind regards

Louise
