The FOM Gala Concert with Howard Shelley that takes place at the City Hall on Thursday, 3 November 2016 is fast approaching and I trust that you have already booked your tickets. If you have not yet done so, I suggest that you call Dial-a-Seat (021- 4217695) as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment. Please also note that the dress rehearsal for the concert will not be open.
As you are aware their will be a post-concert reception for members of the Friends only and you are kindly requested to present your membership cards at the Friends table in the Lobby on the evening of the concert to receive your identification which will allow you access to the reception. Given space considerations non-members of the Friends will regrettably not be able to attend.
I would be most grateful if, for catering purposes, you would kindly let me know (derek@auret.co.za) whether you will be attending the reception and where you will be able to meet Howard Shelley.
A gentle reminder also that FOM membership renewals for 2017 are due by 4 November 2016, failing which you may run the risk of not being able to secure your discounts to your regular seats at the City Hall.
The Shelley concert is going to be a very special event and I look forward to seeing you there.
